Drake Bio
Aubrey Drake Graham (known professionally as Drake) was born on October 24, 1986 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Drake's parents divorced when he was little, and his mother raised him, as per Britannica. As a child, Drake would frequently visit his father during summer seasons. Drake's father was a drummer, a fact which was connected to the musical roots of the Graham family.
In 2001, Drake started to pursue his passion for rapping. Thus, since this point on, Drake has been using his middle name as a professional name for his rapping career.
How Drake Started His Career in Rapping
Drake officially hit the rapping scene in 2006. During this time, Drake's projects saw him in collaboration with other notable names in the rapping industry, such as, 'Lil Wayne, Rihanna, and ASAP Rocky, just to name a few, as per All Music.
Drake's 2011 album, "Take Care" and 2018's "Scorpion" reached the top of the charts in several parts of the world. The same thing happened to Drake's many singles, including, "Hotline Bling" and his different mixtapes, as well. While Drake was still in the beginning stage of venturing into the music industry, despite being an unsigned amateur musician, he was able to have his track called, "Replacement Girl" (feat. Trey Songz) to be included as a featured song on BET's 106 & Park program as its "Joint of the Day."

Drake Hits, Accomplishments, and Accolades
End of June 2009 saw Drake's promotional single, "Best I Ever Had" reach the number two spot of the Billbord's Hot R & B/Hip-Hop songs chart. Drake finally signed on with Universal Motown before the summer of the same year ended. Under this new record contract, the Canadian rapper released an EP called, "So Far Gone." The album reached the number six spot of the Billboard 200 chart. Moreover, Drake won a 2010 Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year for his EP, "So Far Gone."

In another news, Drake recently partnered with Dave's Hot Chicken in giving away free chicken tender sliders during his 37th birthday. As per Culture Map Houston, fans have to download the Dave's Hot Chicken app, and drop by one of its restaurants within 11 am and 9 pm daily in order to avail of Drake's treat. One slider is limited per person.
