Lone Justice bassist Gregg Sutton has died at the age of 74, several media outlets confirmed.
Sutton died on Sunday, October 22, in Los Angeles, Calif. His family has yet to release an official statement regarding his passing, but his friends, colleagues and fans expressed their heartbreaks online after learning of the loss.

As of press time, Gregg Sutton's cause of death has yet to be confirmed and whether he suffered from any health issues that factored in his passing.
His frequent collaborators and fans left heartfelt messages as they remembered Sutton's contributions to the music industry.
Curtis Stiggers told Variety that Sutton was his "dear old friend" who was reportedly one of the most talented individuals he met in the industry. He also recalled Sutton's struggles with different issues and how he managed to survive and thrive because of his "talent, intelligence and big heart."
Maria McKee took to Instagram and posted a black-and-white photo of Lone Justice with the late bassist.
"Gregg Sutton was one of the grooviest bass players I have ever worked with," part of the caption read. "He was a great songwriter and his voice was fantastic. I used to ask him to sing and play Trouble Man by Marvin Gaye, just him and the bass and wonder at just how damn soulful he was."
She also noted that Sutton had been best friends with Andy Kaufmann since the third grade and served as a musical director for the Tony Clifton band.
The musician-songwriter, who was married to Fredo Sutton, reportedly inspired McKee through the years.
"The world is infinitely less cool today," one said. "RIP Gregg Sutton."
"Loved that record and that tour. I was a kid - as you know- and my awesome mom knew how much I wanted to go so she drove me, went to dinner nearby and picked me up right after. Life changing stuff. Love you so much and im sorry to read of this loss," another wrote.
Gregg Sutton's Other Contributions
Although Sutton was known as Lone Justice bassist and a soloist, he notably played in Bob Dylan's band and worked with other musicians through the years.
He also became a member of KGB and played with Barry Goldberg and Carmine Appice.
