Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce rushing things between them?
Swift and Kelce have been receiving everyone's stamps of approval since they became more open about their relationship. Although they have yet to reveal their status, they constantly showed positive progress, which somewhat concerned some experts.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Receive Warning Due to "Rushing Into Their Relationship"
Senior therapist and relationship expert Sally Baker shared her opinion in an interview with Mirror and explained whether their relationship timeline and the events happen accordingly, just like what a solid couple should have and experience.
Although every relationship is unique, Baker said it usually takes around three months before the initial attraction and dating transition into falling in love.
"This timeframe allows for a natural progression of getting to know someone, developing intimacy, and assessing compatibility before deeper feelings take hold," Baker explained.
She also spoke about how the months affect such a transition, with autumn and winter as "conducive to coupling up and settling into new relationships."
Baker shared a piece of advice to the power couple, reminding new pairs like them should avoid rushing important relationship milestones amid the cuffing season.
What Made It Look Like They Are Rushing Things
The public was somewhat shocked when news about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end purchasing a $6 million home in Kansas City, Mo., emerged.
A news outlet exclusively reported that Kelce bought the property amid his romance with Swift.
Per sources, he chose the mansion because his current house was "simply far too accessible" and "starting to become a tourist attraction."
"[Travis Kelce is] a little self-conscious with his pretty modest pad and wanted something a bit more grandeur to impress his new love interest," one insider told the New York Post.
Despite the concerns, more sources assured that the pair are very serious about their relationship because of the obvious signs they showed over the past few weeks.
For instance, Kelce officially added Swift to the Kansas City Chiefs' family when he gifted her a pair of customized matching shoes, which the players also give to their wives and girlfriends.
"The shoes and the picture (of her wearing them with all the others) basically confirm that she's his actual girlfriend for the doubters," the text on @DaOtterside read. "They don't give anybody else those shoes. You'll probably see all of them wearing a different customised set when the Chiefs get to the playoffs."
