Justin Timberlake disabled comments on his Instagram account a few days following the publication of his former girlfriend Britney Spears' book, "The Woman In Me."
It appears that the singer is now fearful of what he could read from Britney Spears' fans.
Between 1999 and 2002, Timberlake, 42, and Spears, 41, dated for three years. Spears disclosed that she had an abortion in her most recent book.
She also disclosed that Timberlake had an abortion because he "wasn't happy" about the pregnancy and didn't want to become a father at such a young age.
Timberlake disabled comments on Instagram, but he hasn't publicly addressed any of the allegations
Spears made in her book, which was released on Tuesday.

Page Six was informed by a source that the decision was made in response to the "hateful, disgusting things people were saying."
This information comes days after it was purported that the source was "not happy" with Spears' book disclosures.
Since September 29, when his reunion single with NSYNC, "Better Place," was released, Timberlake has not shared anything on Instagram for almost a month.
The actor and singer shared a short video on social media with Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, J.C. Chasez, and other members of the NSYNC band talking about their newest song.
In the book, Britney states that she had an abortion at the age of 19 since her partner wasn't ready to become a father at such a young age.
Although it surprised me, I didn't view it as a tragedy. I cherished Justin dearly. One day, Britney wrote, "I always expected us to have a family together." That would just be a lot sooner than I had thought. However, Justin was undoubtedly unhappy about becoming pregnant. He remarked that we were far too young and not ready to have a baby in our lives,' she continued. "I would never have done it if it had been up to me alone."
She said, "But Justin was very certain that he didn't want to be a father." Spears writes of the abortion, "To this day, it's one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life."
