Taylor Swift dropped her "1989 (Taylor's Version)" nine years after the original album was released.
On Friday, October 27, Swift gifted her fans a new re-released that included some of her vault track titles, including "Slut!" "Now That We Don't Talk," "Suburban Legends" and "Is It Over Now?" among others.
Fans started talking about the possibility of Swift including a song about her romance with Travis Kelce, but that does not seem to be the case.
Does Taylor Swift's "1989" Album Contain a Song About Travis Kelce?
Before the album's official release, Swift teased fans with some lyrics from the track list. One of the handwritten notes read: "Aquamarine, moonlit swimming pool. What if all I need is you?"
However, the line from the track "Slut!" is seemingly about someone from her past; thus, it is impossible that she wrote it about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
One Swiftie explained, "Sadly Taylor has been dealing with slut-shaming long before Travis and this track was likely written along with the other tracks in the 1989 era before she met Travis."
In a short clip, the "Anti-Hero" singer explained why her "Slut (Taylor's Version) [From the Vault]" almost missed the "1989" album.
"But I love this song because I think it's really dreamy and really - I don't know," she explained. "Like, I always saw 1989 as a New York album, but this song, to me, was always California. And maybe that was another reason it didn't make the cut because, sometimes, thematically, I just have these weird little rules in my head."

Taylor Swift Responded to Theories That "1989 (Taylor's Version)" Sexualized Friendships
Gaylor, an unproven theory that Swift is queer that started on Tumblr in the mid-2010s, is also the same name for the groups of people who believe that the singer shares queer interpretations in her songs.
After the release of the new album, some Gaylors told Rolling Stone that the recent prologue is about the fandom.
"I think it's a call-out yes, but more to the media at large, rather than just about the Gaylor subset of her fandom, which is only a small piece of her complaint," Gaylor Gabriela said. "[Swift] doesn't want to be assumed to be in a sexual, romantic relationship with anyone she is seen next to."
