As they started their 25th anniversary tour, S Club acknowledged that they still find it difficult to talk about their late bandmate Paul Cattermole.

On April 6, this year, Paul unexpectedly passed away at the age of 46 from natural causes. This was only two months after he and the band announced they would be embarking on a reunion tour.

Pop singers Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, and Rachel Stevens were joined backstage by Lucy Cave on Tuesday's episode of Lorraine, where they talked about their favorite songs to perform. "Reach" is unquestionably the greatest song to perform, followed naturally by "These Are The Days," according to Jo.

Their first single in twenty years, "These Are The Days," honors their late bandmate Paul. Jo went on, "There are days when we can talk about Paul and laugh and joke around, and there are other days when someone brings him up and we're like, 'No no.'"

"We appreciate each other more now," Rachel continued. Two weeks ago, S Club honored Paul at the Manchester launch of their Good Times Tour.

The band departed the stage after the hits You're My Number One and Don't Stop Moving, and the lights went out. Reminiscent video of him singing his all-time favorite song, The Good Times, left the audience speechless with emotion.

After the homage, a panting 41-year-old Jon ran up onto the platform and exclaimed, "Manchester, let me hear you raise the roof one last time for Paul!" Bradley, 42, remarked, his voice trembling, as the group descended the stairs: "Wow, that's our brother right there, man."

S Club paid additional respect to Paul by performing the song they wrote for him, These Are The Days. Paul, 46, was discovered dead on April 6 of this year, two months after the band and he had announced they would be embarking on a reunion tour.

Paul had died abruptly of natural causes. His bandmates and fans were devastated to learn that he had died at his Wareham, Dorset, ground floor apartment.

After leaving S Club 7 in 2002, Paul earned a career as a tarot card reader.

A few days prior, he was reportedly in excellent spirits when he was spotted at a park near his house. Hannah Spearritt, a co-star of S Club 7, who was his former lover, was reported to be 'in bits' upon hearing the news.
