Travis Kelce seemingly lost some of his supporters amid his romance with Taylor Swift after his past "disappointing" statement reemerged.
Travis constantly assures everyone that he is very serious about Swift and their relationship since they started their romance months ago. He often opens up about the spotlight they have been receiving, with sources recently claiming that he is ready to marry her and have kids with her.
Months before Travis and Swift struck up a romance, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end made a controversial comment that recently resurfaced and left everyone disappointed with him.
What Did Travis Kelce Say About Women?
In an episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce's "New Heights" podcast in February before the Super Bowl, they welcomed their mother, Donna Kelce, and discussed starting a family.
They asked their mother which of them she would be supporting in the game, with Jason noting that Donna roots for him more because he has given her grandkids. However, he also revealed that he has always known that she roots for Travis instead.
"I've gotta start breeding, I've gotta start breeding," Travis said in response to having kids and giving his mother grandchildren. "To all the breeders out there."
Jason told him not to do so, and their mother also advised him to wait and find the right person instead.
Despite that, Kelce insisted that he would find "breeders" he could have children with.
"I'm gonna find a breeder, and I'm gonna get kids so that Mom can love me again," he went on.

Travis Kelce Criticized Over Breeders Comment
While some viewed it as a joke, others - including non-Swifties - slammed Travis and criticized him for seeing women as breeders. They took to X to share their rage, and some of them also called out the fans who started supporting Joe Alwyn again after the episode reemerged.
"Forever grateful that Joe Alwyn kept to himself and is private," one said. "It's what makes Travis Kelce's statements from earlier this year about 'finding a breeder' cringe. You are free to say what you want but are not free from the consequences of doing so. Women are not objects."
"i ain't a swiftie but don't have to be one to be weirded out about travis kelce calling women 'breeders.' that ain't it dude," another wrote.
One added, "as soon as Joe and Taylor broke up it took everyone 0.001 seconds to hate on him & then jump on the Travis kelce train & now that the breeder comments came out y'all hate him and suddenly love Joe again ??? some of y'all are ridiculous."
