It's been almost a month since Dua Lipa teased her fans with new music as she wiped her entire social media pages as well as change the cover art for her songs on music streaming platforms, but it appears that the singer is finally ready to begin her new musical era as she announced her new single; when is it coming out?
Earlier this week, the pop superstar shared a video on her social media account which featured a short teaser of the new song. In the end of the clip, there was a numerical code which was later determined as "Houdini." (via Uproxx)
The musician has deleted the video including the previous ones. Although some fans were disappointed by her move, many also believed that it could be a marketing strategy based off Harry Houdini, a popular magician who was known for his disappearing acts.

Finally, Dua Lipa has confirmed her new single and a new era. Taking to her social media accounts, the pop star shared the official cover art of "Houdini."
In the snap, the singer, who wore a red hair, could be seen facing the mirror as she lets her tongue out.
A simple lower-case text of "dua lipa" and "houdini" could be read across the cover art.
The new song will be avaialble for purchase and streaming on major music platforms like Deezer, Amazon Music, Spotify, and more, starting on November 9 at 11 p.m. GMT.

Dua Lipa New Album/New Era
It has been three years since Dua Lipa released her record-breaking album "Future Nostalgia" and fans have been curious about what her new record would sound like.
A new profile interview with The New York Times revealed her plan for her next project, which is expected to be released in 2024.
"Let's get out of the way: Dua Lipa is finishing her third album... despite the trend of musicians announcing and delaying records for years, Lipa will almost certainly meet her deadline," the first paragraph of the profile reads. (via Rolling Stone UK)
Regarding about what it would sound like, Lipa confirmed that she was experimenting with "1970s-era psychedelia" but she clarified that it will still be pop and the public should expect her fans to "have a meltdown."
