You've probably forgotten about the Clerks soundtrack over the past 20 years, but it will forever be lodged in '90s lore.
Now, it's going to get new life (vinyl life!). The classic mix of dialogue and rad tunes will be available Nov. 11 as a three-side package, with the third side containing an "etching," according to Rolling Stone.
The report notes that the movie's producers went through hoops to make its soundtrack legit. Legend has it, licensing the songs cost more than the production costs of making the music itself (although, it must be noted, much of grunge-era rock did not pride itself on production value).
The film was able to jumpstart at least two different songs (Alice In Chains' "Got Me Wrong" and Soul Asylum's "Can't Even Tell") on the charts.
