Billboard 200 chart for last week's release wouldn't be announced until next Sunday night, but Luminate has already released early numbers ahead of the weekend publication.

The publication also reports that "1989 (Taylor's Version)" officially became the best-selling album of 2023 with its projected 1.500 million debut. Hits Daily Double projected the same number.

Should "1989" debut in the same frame and similar numbers, it would tie with "Midnights" which is Swift's personal best. It debuted in October 2022 with 1.578 million album equivalent units.

If Swifties push the envelope, Swift could outperform "Midnights" establishing a new personal best.

Currently, Swift holds the top three best-selling albums in the past year. With "1989" secured at the top, Swift's "Midnights" release recorded 1.14 million sales on its second week, last year, on the same debut frame of "1989 (Taylor's Version)."

"Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" holds the third with 742,000 album equivalent units.
