Britney Spears released her highly anticipated and controversial memoir "The Woman in Me" last Oct. 24, and it has garnered much media attention and love from fans that the singer has sold over a million copies in its first week.
"I poured my heart and soul into my memoir, and I am grateful to my fans and readers around the world for their unwavering support," the "Baby One More Time" singer wrote following the huge success of her memoir.
According to reports, "The Woman in Me" become a No. 1 New York Times Bestseller, under a month since its release.
"The book has been published in 26 languages/territories and is a #1 bestseller with an estimated 2.4 million copies in print globally," the statement read about Spears' memoir being released internationally.

For years, the "Oops I Did It Again" singer was forced to keep quiet about her situation due to a 13-year-long conservatorship imposed by her own father, Jamie Spears.
However, now, Spears has broken free from her shackles and for the first time, has spoken her truth.
"The Woman in Me has been the subject of intense interest since it was announced and has received outstanding critical acclaim since its publication," said Jennifer Bergstrom, the senior vice president and publisher of Gallery Books.

The memoir reveals so much about he singer's past and somewhat hints at what kind of future she hopes for herself now that she is free.
"The Woman in Me" shared controversial information about her relationship with *NSYNC star Justin Timberlake, and Spears also revealed that she had to terminate her pregnancy, as per TImberlake's request.
It goes on to detail how Jamie "gaslit" her into locking her with the conservatorship and how she was freed from it over a decade later.
