34 Years Ago Today - In 1980, Johnny Lee's "Lookin' For Love" became his first #1 country single on Billboard.

39 Years Ago Today - In 1975, Glen Campbell started a two week run at #1 on the US singles chart with "Rhinestone Cowboy." Though he had already had 13 Top 40 hits, the song was his first #3. "Rhinestone Cowboy" went on to get three Grammy nominations and it became the Country Music Association's Song of the Year for 1976.

62 Years Ago Today - In 1952, Hank Williams' "Jambalaya (On The Bayou)" went to #1 on the Billboard country singles chart.
