PinkPantheress is one of the breakout artists over the past few months as her collaboration with Ice Spice titled "Boy's A Liar Pt. 2" made rounds all over social media.

Now that she's gearing up for the release of her debut album, the musician recalled a shocking moment where she almost had a studio session with a major artist, but she prioritized her date first; who could this be?

The British singer recently spoke in an interview with i-D where she revealed that there was one moment in her career where she was almost featured on one of Kendrick Lamar's song, but she wasn't able to go to the studio because her phone was in silent mode.

It all began in the part of the conversation where the topic of dating was asked. The singer said there was one time where she went out with a guy to watch a movie titled "Nightcrawler" which stars Jake Gyllenhaal.

As a courtesy, PinkPantheress decided to put her phone on silent as she enjoys the movie with the unnamed man. (via Uproxx)

However, since she couldn't hear any notifications from her device, it was too late when she saw that Kendrick Lamar had texted her.

"I can't even think about it," her response after what happened.

PinkPantheress New Album

In just a few days, PinkPantheress will be releasing her first album ever titled "Heaven Knows" and it features some of the most talented musicians in the industry.

Regarding the sound of her debut album, the singer revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone that some of her inspirations include Imogen Heap, Lily Allen, and Grace Jones.

In terms of emotion, she noted that there would be a "constant underlying sadness" even though the lyrics aren't sad.

"[It's] also one of hope and lost hope, and, like, gray... My essence was very inspired by Britain. There's a certain feeling that I feel like none of us can really put our fingers on when it comes to being here," she added.

Some of her collaborators include Kelela, Rema, Central Cee, and Ice Spice. "Heaven Knows" will be avaialble for streaming on major music platforms starting on November 11, 2023.
