Travis Kelce Fashion Controlled By Taylor Swift? Stylist Comes Clean

Travis Kelce, during a Sunday game between the Chiefs and Vikings in October, wore quite an unusual pants and yet seem familiar.

This is because they exactly resemble the velvet drapes from Taylor's Midnights Mayhem TikTok series.

Naturally, everyone concluded that Travis was intentionally wearing them as an obvious sign of his love for and relationship with Taylor Swift. Or that his fashion choices are now being controlled by Swift's PR team.

Could there be truth in this?

The pants are "playful, polished and cozy, which Travis always does so well," stylist Danielle Salzedo said to Us Weekly.

She said she really cannot answer to the [curtain theory], but for her, when individuals really connect, those fortunate events begin to happen to them."

While verifying that Travis already had the set "in his closet," Danielle also addressed rumors that he was paying homage to Taylor when he appeared in this "1989 BEDROOM PAINTING SET" from Kid Super Studios, saying, "I love the narrative being drawn to his looks."

Regarding Travis' overall sense of style, Danielle remarked, "He dedicates time to buying online, so he knows what's out there and what's new. He spends a significant amount of time on different retail and designer sites looking for new pieces and shopping."

She added, "He's bought pieces before we can even contact the brand to secure the items. He plays a lot with monochromatic sets as well as oversized [looks]. He doesn't shy away from mixing prints in unexpected ways."

After the Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears game on September 24, Kelce and 33-year-old Swift were seen strolling hand in hand. Kelce was wearing an off-white denim jacket with an abstract blue graphic on it and matching Kid Super jeans.

It can be recalled how Swifties quickly shared the fits on social media, drawing comparisons between the colorway and Swift's 1989 (Taylor's Version) artwork. The brand renamed the item from "Bedroom Painting Denim Jacket" to "1989 Bedroom Painting Denim Jacket" due to the overwhelming amount of conversation surrounding the outfit.

It's not as if Travis Kelce is a man who needs to be controlled by his partner when it comes to fashion choices though. Being part of the sports industry does not mean he cannot dress fancy.

There are many of fashion icons from the sports business that have pioneered their respective fields. Consider Dennis Rodman as an example. In addition, Tom Brady, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Roger Federer, LeBron James, Odell Beckham Jr., Russell Westbrook, Conor McGregor, and McGregor have all established their own labels or obtained fashion partnerships for the benefit of their own fan bases and fashion enthusiasts.
