Dolly Parton has always been firm with her decisions - whether it was accepting recognitions or turning down offers.
With the Super Bowl weekend only months away, the conversation on who should be worthy of performing at the annual musical and sporting event has been revived.
Turns out, Dolly Parton has been offered to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show multiple times already.

Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Jolene" singer candidly admitted that she has been offered multiple times the huge gig.
"Oh, sure. I've been offered that many times," she said. "I couldn't do it because of other things, or I just didn't think I was big enough to do it - to do that big of a production. When you think about those shows, those are big, big productions. I've never done anything with that big of a production. I don't know if I could have. I think at the time that's what I was thinking."
However, things are pacing a little differently now. Parton, who is due to release her new rock album this November 2024, feels like she now have the material to do a huge production.
"It would make more sense. That might change. I might be able to do a production show," she said.
The Super Bowl weekend in 2024 is already stacked with a performance from Usher. The R&B royalty has been preparing for his biggest performance yet.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Usher said that his upcoming Super Bowl performance is a "celebration" of his legacy..
"It's a celebration of my music. It's a celebration of my passion," he explained to the outlet. "Thirty years ago that journey started and now it's landed me at this point in my life at the Super Bowl. Lot of songs, lot of moments, lot of dance, lot of energy."
Despite the pressure, Usher maintained that he's still happy and blessed with the opportunity because of the friends and new people that celebrates his music with him.
"... I don't take it for granted. My mother talked about this moment many years ago actually and there was the thought that maybe it wouldn't come. It was just a matter of time and making certain that the moment was right," he reflected.
