Sophia Coppola's 'Priscilla'

After the success of Baz Luhrmann's "Elvis," fans were surprised to see Sophie Coppola's "Priscilla" as many people didn't expect its story line which was based on the 1985 memoir titled "Elvis and Me."

According to Variety, the movie revolves around Priscilla Presley, the ex-wife of the legendary rock and roll singer.

Online users have been criticizing the relationship between the two as many deem it inappropriate. The reason why is that the pair's courtship reportedly began in 1959, at the time, Priscilla was only 14 years old while Elvis is 10 years older than her.

The movie was released by A24 in limited theaters across the United States on October 27, 2023. It expanded worldwide in November 3.
