Even though Sheryl Crow has won numerous Grammy Awards and sold millions of albums, her sons see mom as much more ordinary.

The 61-year-old singer exclusively told Page Six during Friday night's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, "They think I'm mom."

Her kids, Wyatt, 16, and Levi, 12, who made an uncommon red carpet appearance with her earlier in the evening, said, "If I show up like this [all dressed up] anywhere, it's like ugh."

"They enjoy me for just being mommy."

The singer of "All I Wanna Do," who was being honored tonight, adopted the boys as a single parent in 2007 and 2010, respectively.

Crow did mention that her boys were "excited about tonight" and recognized all the hard work that went into getting the distinction, despite their lack of interest in her level of fame.

"They realized now it was work and there was a whole life of work ahead of them after seeing the work, even though years of me traveling looked like fun to them," she said.

To a certain extent, Crow admitted that her children are lovers of her music.

The nine-time Grammy winner revealed that although they wouldn't switch the station, they wouldn't sing along if one of her numerous hits came on the radio.

She laughed and said, "Now if it was Zach Bryan, they'd sing along."

Alongside Kate Bush, Missy Elliott, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine, the Spinners, and the late George Michael, Crow was inducted into the Performer Category.

Olivia Rodrigo joined her onstage to begin the performance, and the two sang a cover of Crow's song "If It Makes You Happy," according to Yahoo.

When Laura Dern introduced Crow, she referred to her friend as "a badass goddess" and mentioned that at first, the music industry wasn't sure what to think of a Southern female singer-songwriter who could play the guitar.

Luckily, they found out quickly. Dern remarked, "She mapped out the chapters of our lives."

Before landing a job as a backup vocalist for celebrities like Rod Stewart and Michael Jackson, Sheryl Crow started her career producing jingles for commercial clients.

After finding success with her debut album Tuesday Night Music Club in 1993, she went on to win numerous awards and sell enormous amounts of copies of her subsequent albums, including Sheryl Crow and The Globe Sessions.

Crow, who has won nine Grammy Awards, declared that her 2019 album Threads will be her final one.
