In the midst of his highly publicized relationship with Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce recently acquired a new $6 million mansion.

The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs player indulged in a sumptuous 17,000-square-foot mansion in the Leawood, Kansas, area, apparently closing on the sale last month.

The 34-year-old pop artist has been romantically linked to the footballer since September.

Swift will have far more privacy during his visits to Kelce's new property, which is in a gated neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac, than at his current residence, which is reachable by street and has drawn a lot of attention from photographers and fans.

The NFL player paid $995,000 in 2019 to purchase a custom 4,200-square-foot, seven-bedroom property in Kansas City's upscale Briarcliff West area.

According to Taylor Swift's father, "they're very supportive of each other," which is why Taylor and Travis Kelce's relationship works.

Swift attended his home game against the Chicago Bears on September 24, which fueled dating allegations three days later.

The tight end then told his brother Jason Kelce that paparazzi had begun showing up at his house.

"I've noticed a few things," Kelce remarked to Jason during the Sept. 27 episode of their "New Heights" podcast. "Like paparazzi outside my house. They all have British accents, too."

Upon being questioned how he knew they were paparazzi by the Philadelphia Eagles player, Kelce responded, "They have a camera in their hands, and they're screaming my name."

"Oh, that's a dead giveaway," Jason said in jest.

The Daily Mail was able to obtain photographs showing Kelce's home being cordoned off by caution tape on Halloween night.

According to the outlet, a security guard was positioned in a car outside the driveway in an apparent attempt to deter trick-or-treaters from entering the home.

Per reports, Kelce moved fast to look for a more private residence due to the unexpected surge of media interest.

The two-time Super Bowl champion reportedly desired a significant improvement and felt "self-conscious" about his present modest residence after starting a romantic relationship with the "Blank Space" hitmaker, according to a source who talked to the New York Post.

As reported by the Kansas City Journal, Kelce's new home was constructed in 1998 and is situated on more than three acres.

It was formerly owned by a well-known medical malpractice lawyer in the Kansas City area.

The outlet added that the Tomahawk Creek Estates home includes a six-car garage, a wine cellar, a tennis and pickleball court, a miniature golf course, and a pool in the manner of Beverly Hills.
