Hip-hop was shocked when news broke that C-Knight, one-third of a famous trio, had been hospitalized due to severe medical issues.

Reportedly, on October 18th, his blood sugar test results revealed problems that required immediate medical attention. Now, he is reportedly fighting for his life in a hospital.

His dad, George Lee Washington Blount Jr. reported to TMZ that his son, C-Knight, has diabetes and was required to have a dialysis session due to his dangerously high sugar levels.

Unfortunately, during treatment, he purportedly had a stroke followed by cardiac arrest.

C-Knight's father has reported that despite the resuscitation efforts of onsite physicians, he remains 'unresponsive' since being placed on life support.

Unfortunately, to this point, no signs of progress have been made in restoring his health.

The fate of C-Knight's recovery is dependent on the outcome of an MRI scan. Blount anticipates that this test should be able to provide information about his brain activity. His family, meanwhile, are holding their breath for any news regarding the results.

Despite no signs of functioning activity, C-Knight's family is keeping him on life support as they contemplate what to do next. While they grapple with this challenging decision, Blount and the other relatives just hope for a "miracle."

Despite not reaching the same level of commercial success as some of their peers in the 1990s, C-Knight and The Dove Shack were still a significant force in hip hop.

"This Is Tha Shack," a collaborative album by 2 Scoops and Bo-Roc, along with one other artist, was released in 1995. It peaked at number 68 on Billboard's 200 albums chart and 13 on their R&B chart.

In 2001, C-Knight went solo and released his album "Knight Time"

Then, 11 years later, the trio reunited to make "Reality Has Got Me Tied Up," but unfortunately, it failed to chart.

Fitting right into G-funk, the offshoot of West Coast gangsta rap, was a specific group that sampled largely from funky classics belonging to 1970s and '80s funk bands like Parliament-Funkadelic.

Two significant contributors to the development of the subgenre were Snoop Dogg and Warren G, as demonstrated through their influential projects "The Chronic" (1992) and "Doggystyle" (1993). In addition, Warren G was an important innovator.

After a brief hiatus, The Dove Shack regrouped in 2017 and 2018. Unfortunately, tragedy struck shortly afterward when one of their members was hospitalized. In response to this challenging situation, fellow bandmate Bo-Roc took to Instagram and publically asked his fans for their prayers.
