It's been two years since Tyler The Creator released his last album titled "Call Me If You Get Lost" and fans have been wanting for him to drop a new record soon. More recently, the musician trolled his supporters at a music festival as they were expecting for new music.
According to Uproxx, the rapper recently appeared in his annual Camp Flog Gnaw 2023 at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, over the weekend.
Since it was the first day of the festival, the musician was able to treat his fans with performances of some of his classic songs.
However, when it came to new tracks, the musician had a hilarious respond as he trolled concertgoers who expected that he will debut a new song during his set.
Tyler The Creator Trolls His Fans About New Music
During his set, which made rounds on social media, he asked concertgoers if they "wanted new music," the crowd later got hyped and began screaming as they have been waiting for a long time for him to drop new songs.
However, he sarcastically answered: "Aw aw, and I wanted a father, but you don't get everything."
He later noted that he would instead play tracks from his catalog and his fans should sing to every track.
"I'm gonna go through my catalog instead, and you pieces of s*** are gonna sing along," he joked.
The outlet noted that Tyler The Creator was able to play over 16 songs in total which included songs like "Yonkers," "Earfquake," and many more.
He later re-appeared on stage again during Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem's set under The Hillbillies.
Camp Flog Gnaw 2023 Lineup
For this year's Camp Flog Gnaw, fans were able to watch headliners Tyler The Creator, SZA, and the Hillbillies.
Other musicians included in the lineup were WILLOW, Domo Genesis, Toro y Moi, DAISY WORLD, Maxo Kream, Mike G, Left Brain, julie, Khamari, liv.e, beabadoobee, Kevin Abstract, PinkPantheress and many more.
Those who weren't able to attend the festival in person, some of them watched through a livestream via Prime Video as both days were being streamed.
Camp Flog Gnaw was in hiatus for over three years as the last time they were able to hold an event like this was before the pandemic.
