After her triumphant arrival on the Billboard 200 chart last week, Taylor Swift's "1989 (Taylor's Version)" spent another week atop the genre-blending album chart.

Notably, "1989 (Taylor's Version)" landed at the No. 1 spot last week, marking Swift's biggest debut in her discography yet.

Now, she spends another week at the top.

According to the numbers published by Billboard from Luminate, Taylor Swift's "1989 (Taylor's Version)" raked in 245,000 album-equivalent units last week, as reflected on this week's charts.

Like last week, the majority of the album's units were attributed to physical sales. In comparison, last week, "1989 (Taylor's Version)" recorded 1.359 million traditional album sales; this week, it's only 122,000 units.

Streaming, on the other hand, also fell from, 288,000 to 121,500. Track units are now only 1,500 from 6,000 units last week.

Swift blocked Jung Kook's album, "Golden," as it only launched at No. 2. Jimmy Buffet's posthumous album, "Equal Strain on All Parts," landed at No. 6.

Taylor Swift's Record-Breaking '1989 (Taylor's Version)' Debut

To date, "1989 (Taylor's Version)" is her biggest debuting album to date with 1.653 album equivalent units. It is officially her biggest album debut and biggest re-recorded album to date.

Last week's debut was a history-setting one as among the 1.359 million albums, 693,000 of those were Vinyls - making it the biggest Modern-Era Single-Week Vinyl Sales Record since Luminate began tracking in 1991.

The streaming debut of the album also marks the biggest streaming activity for a re-recorded album in Swift's streaming history. "Red (Taylor's Version)" opened with 303 million streams, a huge gap from "1989 (Taylor's Version)" with 375 million streams.

Over in the United Kingdom, the album also debuted at the top of the UK Official Charts, making it the fastest-selling record in 2023.

Over the weekend, Taylor Swift performed at Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires with Sabrina Carpenter as her opening act. She was visited by her boyfriend, Kansas City Chief tight end, Travis Kelce.

In a fan-captured video, Swift was seen running toward Kelce, planting a long smooch in the lips as soon as the show ended. Swifties were sent into a frenzy on social media as soon as the video was uploaded.
