Taylor Swift is a Grammy Award favorite. With 12 Grammy Awards on her belt, Taylor Swift is the 13th artist on the top sheet with the most Grammy wins.
2023 is undeniably Taylor Swift's year. With the start of her record-breaking "The Eras" Tour, the release of the concert film, and the re-recording of "1989 (Taylor's Version)," she might also claim the subsequent year as hers with a Grammy Award sweep.
Last week, the 2024 Grammy Award nominations were announced and Taylor Swift bagged six more nominations!
Taylor Swift 2024 Grammy Award Nominations
The Recording Academy released the list of nominees for the 2024 Grammy Awards and Taylor Swift is one of them.
Her 2022 album, "Midnights," which was released well within the 2024 Grammy Awards eligibility period, raked in two nominations - Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year.
Meanwhile, her collaboration with Ice Spice, "Karma," was nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The lead single of the album, "Anti-Hero," has been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.
With "Anti-Hero" being nominated for Song of the Year, Taylor Swift is now the first songwriter in Grammy history to have accumulated seven nominations in the said category.

Surprisingly though, she has never won in the said category. She was nominated for "You Belong With Me," "Shake It Off," "Blank Space," "Lover," "Cardigan," "and "All Too Well (10 Minute Version."
Hopefully with "Anti-Hero," Taylor Swift can finally win her well-deserved win in the said category.
Meanwhile, her new Record of the Year nomination for "Anti-Hero" puts her as the first artist to have five tracks nominated in the said category without any collaborations since Frank Sinatra.
The Album of the Year nomination for "Midnights" is also a record-breaking feat. She now ties with music legend Barbra Streisand with the most nominations in the top category with six. She has already bagged three top awards - "Fearless," "1989," and "Folklore." Should Swift win this year, she would tie with Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder as the artists who have the most wins in the category of all time.
