Eddie Van Halen's death sparked talks of Van Halen reuniting its members to honor the late musician's legacy throughout their decades-long career, but there has been an issue with some of the members as not all of them are willing to play together again.
More recently, Sammy Hagar revealed that he and Michael Anthony will be touring this 2024 which will honor Van Halen's history, and he also noted that he already reached out to some of his good pals for a possible reunion.
Hagar recently appeared in an episode of the "Howard Stern Show" where he gave details about the "Best of All Worlds" tour next year.
Aside from Anthony, other musicians involved in the series of concerts will be Joe Satriani as the guitarist and Jason Bonham on drums.
Although the tour will not entirely revolve on Van Halen's music as there will be solo music from Hagar, the band wanted to deep dive into the group's legendary songs.
Sammy Hagar Reached Out to David Lee Roth, Alex Van Halen to Join Him

Hagar said the door is open for those who wanted to join them on tour as they are going to honor the legacy of Van Halen.
"If there's guitar players [that want to play] we'll get them involved. Other singers, we'll get them involved. If Alex Van Halen wants to come out, we'll get him involved. If David Lee Roth wants to come out and join us, come on m**********. YOU ... ARE ... WELCOME," he said. (via Loudwire)

What Happened to Van Halen?
According to The Sun, Van Halen disbanded after David Lee Roth decided to leave the group in order to pursue other career venutres.
The reason why he departed from his bandmates was because of personal conflicts as well as creative differences with his good pals.
Everything came crumbling down after Roth disagreed with the band's artistic direction regarding the follow-up to their 1984 album.
