BLACKPINK is back in your area.

The four-membered KPOP group announced their first-ever virtual concert called "BLACKPINK: A VR Encore" in partnership with Meta and The Diamond Bros.

According to reports, Blinks-BLACKPINK'S fandom-can relive and revisit the exhilarating last show from their highly successful "Born Pink World Tour" in Gocheok Sky Dome through the upcoming virtual concert.

"We're thrilled to embrace the dynamic world of VR because it allows us to reach an even wider global audience and share our music in an entirely new, immersive way," read the KPOP group's statement.

"This VR concert is not just a show; it's an extension of the tour we poured our hearts into. We can't wait for you to see the magic we've created with The Diamond Bros and Meta, and thank you to our incredible BLINKs for your endless support."

BLACKPINK's 'Born Pink World Tour'

It has been a hot second since Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose concluded their "Born Pink World Tour," which had several shows in multiple countries like the United States, Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom, and more.

They performed chart-topping hit songs "Pink Venom," "How You Like That," "Kill This Love," and more.

It is no surprise the Emmy-Award-winning production company decided to tap BLACKPINK for the virtual concert.

"BLACKPINK is an iconic, groundbreaking group, and being able to capture them in VR in Seoul, South Korea, for the final performance of their Encore tour was incredible," said Josh Diamond, the director and executive producer at the Diamond Bros.

BLACKPINK's Contract

The news of the upcoming virtual concert was met with both excitement and dread from Blinks, who voiced their frustrations with BLACKPINK's label, YG Entertainment.

"No one asked for this, just announce the damn contract already," one wrote.

"Worst Christmas gift ever," another added.

As of this writing, YG Entertainment is still yet to reveal what is really going on with the members behind the scenes and why it's taking the contract renewal so long.

"We are negotiating with the artists regarding their exclusive contracts," the label wrote.

"The final outcome will be revealed through the document regarding more management issues related to investments," their statement concluded.

According to reports, Lisa's manager recently parted ways from the company, which fuelled suspicion that there is something amiss in BLACKPINK and that not all of the members will renew their contracts.
