A body language expert translated Justin Timberlake's gestures during his first red carpet appearance since Britney Spears dropped her memoir, "The Woman in Me."
As expected, Timberlake formally reunited with NSYNC to attend the film premiere of "Trolls Band Together" after singing the movie's track, "Better Place." It marked their first-ever appearance together since the five members - Timberlake, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone - attended the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards to present the Best Pop Video Award to Taylor Swift.
Justin Timberlake Looked Uneasy During First Appearance
Body language expert Judi James recently commented on Timberlake's "awkward" appearance since Spears dropped the bombshells in her memoir. The "Everytime" singer exposed her relationship with the boyband member and detailed the time she got pregnant but got an abortion since he was not happy about it.
Spears also alleged that Timberlake cheated on her with multiple women throughout their relationship.
James told The Mirror that the "What Goes Around... Comes Around..." singer looked like he wanted to enjoy a relaxed vibe with his bandmates. However, his body language reportedly showed otherwise.
"Wearing the only pair of shades in the line-up tends to suggest he's keen to keep a barrier up as the eyes are one of the most revealing parts of the body," James said, adding, "His pose looks a little awkward, too. He's being touched by the others but not joining in that signal of camaraderie."
The body language expert added that Timberlake's decision to put one hand into his pocket suggested his wish to hide; his smile also looked a little forced.
Timberlake has yet to respond to the shocking allegations in the book. Still, he has been receiving advice from his pals who push him to slam all his haters.
