Madonna sparked new concerns due to her "skinny" appearance amid her Celebration Tour.
After pushing back the schedule of her world tour, Madonna officially kicked it off at the O2 Arena in London, England, on October 14. She will visit more venues in the next few weeks, but the "Back That Up To The Beat" singer sparked new concerns because of her appearance.
Madonna Looks Skin-and-Bones in Recent Update
On Instagram, Madonna uploaded a photoset featuring the snaps she took in Paris. It included several selfies of the crooner, which highlighted her seemingly thinner appearance that worried fans.
One said, "I hope you are well mama, Queen of pop, be sure to rest on this journey of the world."
"Every time Madonna trends I always think, my god, what has she done to her face now?" another wrote, while one user shared, "love ur natural face. Ur gorgeous. No more filters god ur pretty."
Most fans also defended Madonna's new look and told the haters to back off.
She previously assured her fans that she had already been doing well after her five-day hospitalization due to a serious bacterial infection. She told the attendees of her Celebration Tour that she thought the health issue might kill her.
"I didn't think I was gonna make it," she said. "I forgot five days of my life - or death, I didn't really know where I was."
Madonna Constantly Sparks Worries
It was not the first time fans got worried about her health.
Amid her tour, body language expert and celebrity psychic Inbaal Honigman told The Mirror that Madonna showed a sign that she might be tired.
"There might be a bit of slack in the hip here or an unevenness of the shoulder there, she's not as symmetrical and controlled as yesteryear, but close enough," she said of Madonna's signature poses. "She's showing that every limb has been trained and practiced and she's letting her fans know that she's worked hard for them and that she's excited to come and share this tour with them."
Honigman added that Madonna rested her chin slightly low in her performances, which could be a sign of fatigue and nervousness.
