Dua Lipa is gearing up to release her third studio album, however, she has greater plans: she wants to "change pop culture."

"A successful Dua campaign is one that lasts a couple of years or more," said the "singer's management about her plans a reality. "We want more diamond records. We want streams of two billion plus. We want her to be the most streamed artist in the world."

Lipa recaptured the music scene's attention last week with the release of her highly anticipated single "Houdini," which will usher in a new era and album.

After the great success of her sophomore album, Future Nostalgia," the singer is once again looking for a sound that will entice her listeners and keep them coming back for more.

"It sat between multiple genres, it had you immediately scratching your head as to what exactly it was, which is quite a fun experience to have when you're listening to music from an artist like Dua who's been searching so long for a different type of sound. I was immediately intrigued and excited," said Joe Kentish, a Warner Music executive.

Dua Lipa Cements Main Pop Girl Legacy

When Lipa released her self-titled debut studio album, she captured everyone's attention, and her 2020 album "Future Nostalgia" threw her to unimaginable heights.

The "Don't Start Now" singer is preparing to release a new album with a completely different sound that will make her stand out from her fellow artists, and cement her as the "main pop girl" of the decade.

So far, with the release of her new single, she has yet again managed to capture everyone's attention as they wait for the album's release.

The Guardian described the singer's vibe as "bold, uncomplicated and malleable, kind of old school; her most defining feature a voice as capable of opulence as pointy rebuke."

Dua Lipa's New Upcoming Album

The three-time Grammy Award-winner gushed about her new upcoming album-the title yet to be revealed-during her appearance at Varietys' Power of Women event.

"I definitely got more music coming. Right now I'm in 'Houdini' world. I'm just thrilled that I'm finally signed to release new music," she said.

"Honestly, it hit me so quick-the intensity of everyone's reaction. It's amazing. It's definitely the biggest reaction I've ever gotten from anything I've ever done. I'm just really happy and ready to start this next chapter."

Aside from releasing music, Lipa has also starred in several movies like "Barbie" alongside Margot Robbie and the upcoming film "Argylle," alongside Henry Cavill.
