Heat Wave During Taylor Swift's 'The Eras' Tour in Brazil
According to reports, many fans complained about the heat before the concert even commenced; they also alleged that Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos prohibited them from bringing their own water bottles to the venue.
Swift had to stop performing several times to check on her fans and even called on her own team to hand out water bottles to the crowd.
There's people that need water right here, maybe 30, 35, 40 feet back," the singer said during her "Evermore" set. "So whoever is in charge of giving them that, just make sure that happens. Can I get a signal that you know where they are?"
Swifties at the floor began chanting "water, water," to capture Swift's attention.
"Taylor tried her best to help her fans who needed water, stopping the show several times to point out people and even having HER OWN TEAM hand out water when the stadium wouldn't," a fan wrote about the situation.
"Prohibition of bringing own water bottles during concerts is pure evil... it should be illegal."
