50 Cent was at the Crypto.com Arena in August when he got frustrated with a faulty microphone, which he threw in anger, only for it to hit someone's head.

According to reports, the "In Da Club" rapper accidentally hit a POWER 106 radio host, Bryhana Monegain, which resulted in a bleeding gash.

"Let's be very clear...my client Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone," said 50 Cent's lawyer, Scott Leemon. "Anyone saying something different doesn't have all the facts and is misinformed."

However, despite no ill intent, Monegain still filed a police report against him, and apparently, 50 Cent was threatened with criminal charges.

50 Cent Avoids Criminal Charge

According to recent reports, though, the rapper was able to miss the criminal charges, however, 50 Cent will also have to make sure he stays out of trouble.

"This matter has been set for a City Attorney Hearing, which is a pre-filing diversion available to eligible individuals," the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office told Entertainment Tonight.

"The case will remain open for the duration of 1 year from the date of the incident. It can be re-evaluated for possible criminal charges, should there be any further incidents between the parties or any additional reports made against Mr. Jackson. If there are no further police contacts with Mr. Jackson, this case will be closed after 1 year from the incident date."

50 Cent Faces Lawsuits

This is not the first time 50 Cent had to go to court this year; apparently, the rapper was embroiled in a longstanding legal dispute with his former lawyers.

According to reports, 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, lost a $32 million appeal case against his former law firm for malpractice.

"Without more, the court cannot conclude the conflict of interest impacted counsel's discovery strategy, or that the conflict caused Jackson to lose at trial," said the presiding judge, US District Judge Vanessa Bryant.

The case is linked to 50 Cent's bankruptcy filing back in 2015; in which his former lawyer filed a claim seeking unpaid attorney fees which totaled over $609,000.

In March of this year, the rapper settled a lawsuit against a spa in Miami for claiming that they used his image to promote a penis enlargement procedure.

He claims that it was false advertising and that they "insinuated" that he had gotten the surgery as well.
