An astounding $4 million worth of jewelry, purses, and irreplaceable items gifted by Phil Collins to his ex-wife Orianne Cevey, are going on the auction block for all eyes to behold.
This news comes from Page Six about the legendary musician and "You'll Be in My Heart" singer's ex.
Kodner Auction Gallery in Miami is auctioning off some of Phil's most valuable assets, including a Yamaha piano and a Wurlitzer Jukebox. The estimated total worth of the items is between $2.9 million to $4.3 million.
With sadness in her voice, Orianne, 49, expressed to Page Six that despite her strong emotional attachment to some of her items, she needs to let them go due to having recently downsized homes.
She smiled as she gestured to the items in the room, proudly proclaiming them to be some of her most beloved family heirlooms.
According to Orianne, the sentimental piano may be worth an astonishing $50,000 up to $100,000.
She also mentioned auctioning off a fantastic assortment of Chanel products. Her passion for collecting began in 2001 when he became Chanel's most valued customer with over 500 pairs of shoes.
Kodner Auction Gallery president Russ Kodner excitedly described this upcoming auction as a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" to obtain items from the private collection of Phil Collins and Orianne Cevey.
On the auction block are some incredible couture pieces, including clothing by Chanel, shoes and boots, and stunning jewelry from Van Cleef & Arpels.
Orianne proudly showcases some of the world-renowned Phil Collins' most renowned instruments and collectibles.
According to a certified gemologist, they are her prized possessions.
Furthermore, Orianne announced that a sizeable portion of the profits will be donated to the Never Give Up Foundation, which works to create an accessible future for those suffering from disabilities such as Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
Phil Collins vs. Orianne Cevey
In August, Orianne - who had divorced the Oscar winner in 2006 - could finally sell her $6 million Florida home for $7.75 million after having to initiate foreclosure proceedings on it back in June. Her six-bedroom Fort Lauderdale mansion became one of the casualties of her bitter split from her third husband, Tom Bates.
In an unexpected move, Orianne secretly tied the knot with Thomas, a male escort, in Las Vegas in 2020 - sans prenup - before relocating to his $40 million Miami Beach mansion.
However, when Phil returned from Europe, where he was promoting his tour, he quickly demanded that Orianne and Thomas leave his property, and they shifted to a different Fort Lauderdale home. Soon afterward, their relationship began to decline.
In December 2021, news of Phil Collins' divorce broke out. The two revealed that the pandemic had taken a toll on their relationship, but court documents made available to the Daily Mail suggested different reasons for the split.
According to the papers, Phil Collins complained of his wife having a "ferocious temper," concealing his possessions from him and even going as far as threatening to amputate his genitals when he asked for the possessions back.
Phil Collins has a net worth of $350 million.
