For a third week, Taylor Swift's 1989 (Taylor's Version) remains at the top of the Official Albums Chart, depriving The Beatles of an encore to their incredible record-breaking Number 1 album total.
Because Taylor is enjoying his third week at the top, The Beatles' reissues of their beloved collections from 1967 to 1970 (also referred to as the "Blue" album) and 1962 to 1966 (also referred to as the "Red" album) end the week at Number 2 and Number 3, respectively, after a close race to the top.
This places the albums back at their 1973 release peaks.
The Beatles still hold the record for the act with the most Number 1 albums in the UK in history with 15, despite the fact that they might not be adding another to the fairly impressive list.
A composite boxset comprising the two albums, which was issued in conjunction with the release of their "last" song, Now and Then, debuted at Number 33 further down the Top 40.
