Britney Spears appeared content as she grinned during her first public appearance since the publication of her candid memoir, "The Woman In Me."

The "Toxic" singer seemed happy in recent pictures shot on Saturday in West Hollywood, California, as she and friend Cade Hudson headed to the celebrity hotspot Chateau Marmont.

Additionally, Spears was carrying Snow, her newest pet, whom she adopted in August after her divorcing spouse Sam Asghari took custody of one of their five canines.

For the lunch outing, the Grammy-winning performer looked her best in fall attire, pairing a figure-hugging orange dress with light brown boots. Spears completed her midday ensemble with a big white purse and her trademark Aviator sunglasses.

This was Spears' first public appearance since the well-received release of "The Woman In Me" on October 24.

Despite the fact that Spears has been in the news this year for a variety of reasons, such as dancing with (prop) knives and the ongoing drama surrounding her divorce, everyone's attention was drawn to her touching story when the book was published.

She said she cherished Justin dearly and always thought that one day they will have a family. The 41-year-old Spears explained in her biography that Timberlake, 42, "definitely wasn't happy" when he found out about her pregnancy.

So she ended up getting an abortion.

She added that not sure if that was the best course of action. Had it been solely up to her, she never would have taken that action. Despite this, Justin was adamant that he didn't want to have children.

According to reports, Britney Spears is prepared to go into further depth in the second book of her biography about her relationship with Justin Timberlake.

An insider said that the Princess of Pop intends to share more about their relationship in the sequel to her book, which is set to come in 2024, following the publication of The Woman In Me, which drew the former NSYNC singer under investigation.

A source privy to OK magazine stated: "She'll share more of her experiences with Justin, and could've easily filled four or five books the first time around."

Needless to say, Britney Spears can see the numbers associated with her book, primarily because of the juicy details she released about Timberlake and more. After getting some of her baggage out, this might be why she looks so happy right now.

Even thoughb Britney clarified that she "didn't mean to hurt anyone" with her book, the insider further said the pop icon doesn't "regret the decision" to finally divulge to the public some of the secrets she has been holding onto for so long.
