Over the past few months, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce continue making headlines for their romance as they are considered to be one of the hottest couples on this planet. Initially, their romance was private, but they later publicized it by attending each other's shows/games.
Even though the public has been seeing them almost every single day on social media, many are still curious about how the pair first met each other.
More recently, the NFL athlete spoke with the Wall Street Journal for a profile where he revealed how he and Swift first started talking to each other.
It all began in July at "The Eras Tour" where Kelce wasn't allowed to meet Swift to hand over a friendship bracelet with his phone number.
The Kansas City Chiefs player then noted that someone from the mega-pop superstar's team brought this to her attention.
"There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: Yo! Did you know he was coming?... I had somebody playing Cupid," he said.
Taylor Swift First Texted Travis Kelce
Kelce then revealed that Swift was the first one to text him as he received a message from her where she told him what was going on at the time and he felt lucky that she did that.
As of this writing, the athlete didn't reveal who set him up or who gave her his number, but he hinted that it was one of the singer's family members.
"She'll probably hate me for saying this, but ... when she came to Arrowhead [for her concert], they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room," he said. (via Billboard)
