Tragedy struck at a recent concert, along with chaos over the Brazil dates for Taylor Swift "Eras" Tour, leaving the holiday plans of the highly prominent figure in doubt.
A source told Page Six, "The holiday season is up in the air for [name] due to these unforeseen developments."
It had been a few fateful days for the Grammy award-winning singer, as she must decide what to do in light of her recent concerts in Brazil.
Tragically, one of her fans passed away during her time there, and it has been an incredibly traumatic experience for her.
According to the source, what should have been an exciting tour turned out to be anything but due to extreme weather conditions that created a chaotic environment.
As reports had been swirling that she would get to spend Thanksgiving with her significant other, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, it is now believed that she will make a decision after attending Monday night's concert.
Taylor Swift Fan Passes Away
For 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides, the effects of Taylor Swift's show in Rio de Janeiro were unfortunate and deadly.
During the performance, Ana lost consciousness due to the high temperatures and later passed away from cardiac arrest at a hospital.
According to multiple outlets, this tragedy may have been avoided had she decided to stay home instead of travel during such a trying time.
A scorching heatwave had caused temperatures to soar, with a remarkable reading of 139 degrees Fahrenheit recorded on thermometers.
Taylor even said in a statement, "I can't believe I'm writing these words, but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show. I can't even tell you how devastated I am by this."
"I'm not going to be able to speak about this from stage because I feel overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it," she said. "I want to say now I feel this loss deeply, and my broken heart goes out to her family and friends. This is the last thing I ever thought would happen when we decided to bring this tour to Brazil."

Swifties in Rio
Taylor Swift's tight relationship with her fan base has been shaken due to the incident at one of her concerts.
Folha de S.Paulo reported that fans who were waiting in line for general admissions allegedly didn't receive water while queuing.
The artist recently posted a video to X, formerly Twitter, showing her taking time out from her performance to help those around her.
She was visibly drenched with sweat and called for staff members to provide water bottles for thirsty fans. "It's very hot," she said as the crowd began chanting "We need water!"
