Nicki Minaj burst into the music scene and the rap game strong, with her debut album, "Pink Friday," which boasts the viral-hit sensation "Super Bass" and iconic hits like "Did It On'em," "Moment 4 Life," and "Fly" featuring Rihanna as singles.
The album was released on Nov. 22, 2010 via Young Money, Cash Money, and Universal Motown, a year after she signed a record deal with Young Money Entertainment.
The ground-breaking album also included a myriad of collabs with some of the biggest names in the music industry like Drake, Rihanna, Kanye West, Eminem, and Natasha Bedingfield.
According to Pop Base, "Pink Friday" topped the US music charts, and became the album with the highest first-week sales by a female rapper.
It cemented Minaj's career and made her set for life. She is about to release the follow-up, "Pink Friday 2" on Dec. 8.

While her debut album will always hold a place in her heart, Minaj admitted recently that her upcoming release might eclipse "Pink Friday."
"The new album date for this incredible body of work that I am so proud of is on a very special day to me and to the Barbz," she said, reports say.
"I am so filled with emotion about it because, as y'all know, it's been a long time coming," she added, noting that she has "never in [her] life been so in love with something that [she is] working on.
Apparently, Minaj has been working on this album for the past five years, and while she struggled with it a lot.
"It is the album that I had writer's block for a long time because I was pregnant and didn't want to say freaky stuff and all that."

Not only will the rapper be releasing an album, she will also be going on tour-something fans have been waiting for, for years.
According to reports, Minaj will be visiting some of the major cities in the United States including Austin, Boston, Las Vegas, Miami, Brooklyn, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, and more.
She will also be bringing her highly anticipated tour to Europe; she will be having shows in London, Paris, and Amsterdam.
