Taylor Swift and her athlete boyfriend Travis Kelce have been taking over the world by storm because of their whirlwind romance and it appears that the NFL is in favor of their relationship as approved by Roger Goodell.

The NFL commissioner recently appeared in an interview with CBS Mornings where he revealed his true feelings over the football star and singer's current romance that has been making headlines for months now.

Speaking with Nate Burleson, Goodell noted that he's happy for the couple because "They seem to be enjoying their relationship, that's great in and of itself."

He then added that their love for one another is also good for the National Football League because it helps them connect with Swifties.

"It has connected more fans of Taylor's and more fans of the NFL in some way to see that now they have a connection to our game," he added. (via Billboard)

Roger Goodell Thinks Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce's Relationship is Great for the NFL

Elsewhere in the interview, the NFL commissioner commended Swift for being an incredible artist, he also praised Kelce for being an "unbelievable player."

Since both of them had big fanbases before their whirlwind romance even began, Goodell said, "I think it's great for the league to have that kind of attention. We welcome it."

Thanks to Taylor Swift, the number of viewers of NFL games skyrocketed especially during Kansas City Chiefs' games. The reason behind it is that the musician had already attended a few games in the past.

The NFL also got another record last Monday when the Kansas City Chiefs went head-to-head against the Philadelphia Eagles as they became the most-viewed Monday night football game in nearly three decades.
