During her appearance on Saturday's episode of "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here," Britney Spears' younger sister Jamie Lynn made a statement about the state of her relationship with the pop star.

The 32-year-old actress and singer revealed that she has learned to keep any struggles between them private but remarked that they manage to make up for it as their family "fights better than most."

Jamie pointed out that she and Britney had comparable childhoods but dealt with them differently. Nonetheless, the star noted that the "Baby One More Time" singer would likely be apprehensive about her struggles in the wilderness.

Jamie Lynn Answers

Jamie's jungle-mate Sam queried heron whether Britney Spears had been worried about her daily weeping.

She noted that Britney would be "keeping a close eye" on her and Sam wanted to know if she was considered "the cool aunt" by the children.

"Do you believe Britney was watching you on this," Sam asked.

To which Jamie Lynn answered, "I can imagine she'd be worried about me on here. I think she's probably checking in on me heavily."

"I do think she's probably like, 'Why would she do that?' She asked me that before I came here, she said, 'You're going to do it?' I said, 'I'm going to go to Australia and check it out.'"

"My crying, she'd probably be like, 'Ya'll get her the f--k out of there, right now!' She's a good big sister, she is."

Jamie Lynn went on to say, "Yeah, I love her. Me and her throw down. The world's seen that. I've learned to stop talking about it publicly."

Sam responded, "It seems like everyone has arguments about something."

Jamie Lynn added, "We both come from challenging backgrounds and have had to figure out how to handle our circumstances in various ways. We've been too quick to take it out on each other in a couple of instances. But I've never taken anything away from her - all I've ever wanted is to be her sister."

"We just had a bizarre life, so we can't explain it to many people, but at the end of the road, I know that that's my family, I love them."

Social Media Is Not Convinced

Expressions of disbelief and frustration have been pouring in on X, formerly Twitter, over Jamie Lynn's claims that she wasn't able to help her elder sister, Britney Spears, during her traumatic conservatorship, according to Meaww.

One user expressed their exasperation with the statement, writing, "We don't believe her."

Another user commented, "Jamie Lynn only contributed to Britney's struggle. We don't like her."

But a third user had different sentiments when asked, "Oh hey there, Jamie! So adore that sisterly love! But, umm, just saying, if you really got Britney's back, why not say a word or two about the conservatorship afterwards? No tea, no shade; just curiosity!"

A tweet was posted, inquiring "Too bad she didn't hesitate to take everything from britney though..."

To this, another user replied with a simple response of "Um- not the same case for her sister though."
