Beyoncé just had the premiere night for the "Renaissance" concert film and some of the biggest artists in the music industry attended the special occasion.

According to WWD, famous musicians who were in attendance include Gabrielle Union, Lupita Nyong'O, Normani, Kelly Rowland, Lizzo, Janelle Monáe, Winnie Harlow, and many more.

The event was held at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California, over the weekend to show the documentary-style concert film, which revolved around Beyoncé's time on tour.

A few months ago, Taylor Swift had her premiere night for "The Eras Tour" concert film and Beyoncé was one of the attendees to support her at the time. However, the mega-pop superstar is noticeably absent from the latter's festivities; what happened?

Why Was Taylor Swift Absent From Beyoncé's Premiere Night

According to Page Six, the biggest reason why the musician opted not to attend the premiere night was because of her busy schedule.

Taylor Swift is currently touring across South America for her "The Eras Tour." On the night of Beyoncé's event, she was in São Paulo, Brazil, performing in front of thousands of fans.

The recent news comes more than a month after the pop star took to her official Instagram account to share a video of herself sitting beside Beyoncé after they watched her concert film.

In the caption, she commended Queen Bey for being one of her biggest influences in the music industry.

"She's been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairytale," she wrote.

Beyoncé, Taylor Swift Friendship Through the Years

During the MTV Video Music Awards 2009, an infamous moment in pop culture history happened when Kanye West cut off Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech as the rapper noted that Beyoncé had "one of the best videos of all time" despite her winning the category.

Later that evening, Beyoncé received the Video of the Year award and she asked Swift to come up on stage and finish her speech.

Queen Bey said she remembered being a young teenager upon receiving her first MTV award with her group Destiny's Child and it was one of the most exciting moments of her life that's why she wanted to do the same for Swift. (via People Magazine)
