Travis Kelce has been playing for the Kansas City Chiefs for over a decade now and he already spent 10 seasons with the group. However, one major musician offered him a big amount of money to leave his team; why is that?
The athlete recently appeared in the latest episode of his "New Heights" podcast along with his brother, Jason Kelce.
During their conversation, he hilariously revealed that Machine Gun Kelly attempted to bribe him in order to leave the Kansas City Chiefs and transfer to the Browns in Cleveland, the city where the rocker grew up.
MGK dropped by on the show through a phone call himself and proposed the offer while the episode was being recorded.
"I will give you $500,000 cash upon arrival just for shopping or whatever you want," he said.

In addition to the cold hard cash, the "Emo Girl" hitmaker added more offer, saying he will donate the same amount to both of their high schools.
On top of that, he also wanted to serve free breakfast and coffee every single day from his restaurant in Cleveland through delivery.
"Come on home, Trav!... Come home, put these colors on and rock the city," MGK added.

Despite the big amount of money and Kelce admitting that it was an "intriguing offer," it appears that he won't be switching teams anytime soon.
"I'm not gonna lie, the situation's pretty good in Kansas City," he said. (via Billboard)
Machine Gun Kelly didn't want to raise his white flag as he told the football player that he doesn't have to decide right away and the offer is still on the table.
How Rich is Machine Gun Kelly?
The rocker/rapper's offer is a big amount, which means he has to have a lot of money in order to do so.
According to Wealthy Gorilla, his net worth as of 2023 is estimated to be around a whopping $25 million. Most of his earnings come from his work as a musician (tours, streaming, album sales) but he's also an entrepreneur as he owns the 27 Club Coffee in Cleveland.
However, his fortune is nothing compared to Kelce because Celebrity Net Worth reported that he's estimated earnings as of 2023 is around $40 million.
