It seems that Taylor Swift has the most perceptive fan following because people on X, which was once known as Twitter, have figured out who the true subject of her song "Sweet Nothing" is.
Although there's a good case to be made for the song's inspiration coming from Taylor's relationship with her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, it appears that she was probably drawing inspiration from another well-known artist. Those who shipped Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn would surely be sad to find out the cute song is not even for the singer's boyfriend at the time.
Observant X users have noticed that the musician of Midnights recently liked a previous tweet from October 2022 that included a quotation from Paul McCartney regarding his marriage to his former wife Linda McCartney.
The Beatles member had a touching custom with Linda, as quoted in the passage: "I would come back from a run with a poem to share and after having listened, Linda would say, 'What a mind.'"

Meanwhile, Taylor's "Sweet Nothing" goes On the way home / I wrote a poem / You say, 'What a mind' / This happens all the time."
Whether for Alwyn or not, everything must be water under the bridge now, since the two have parted ways and Taylor Swift is having the time of her life with Travis Kelce.
Travis Kelce, the guy who seems to never shy away from talking about Swift, unlike Joe Alwyn.
The NFL star, 34, just shared a wealth of information in a new, in-depth interview that will appear on the cover of WSJ Magazine's December/January issue. He even goes into detail about how his connection with Swift started!
"I don't know if I want to get into all of it," Kelce said during the discussion, before considering his initial failed attempt to meet the performer at her July Eras Tour event. The narrative was previously told by Kelce in an episode of his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, but Kelce is now adding some significant new information.
"There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: Yo! Did you know he was coming? I had somebody playing Cupid," Kelce told the outlet, adding that he eventually found that out from Swift when she contacted him directly.
"She told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out," he said.
