Looks like Justin Bieber has one less legal issue to deal with. Prosecutors have decided to withdraw their assault charge against the 20-year-old pop star, who was accused of attacking a limo driver in Toronto back in January, TMZ reports.
According to their report, the decision was made because it was "unclear who actually made contact with the driver," although sources originally said Bieber had been involved in the December 2013 incident. As Vibe points out, there were five other people in the singer's limo at the time of the scuffle.
Bieber hasn't quite been staying out of trouble since that time. Last week, the singer was arrest after a reported altercation following an ATV crash in Canada, which involved the paparazzi. That incident is currently the only open case against him, and he is expected to appear in court later this month.
As TMZ notes, Justin is on probation for 2 years after the egging case in Los Angeles, so it's unclear whether the ATV incident will trigger a probation violation.
One thing is for sure, the Biebs is keeping his legal department busy and is no stranger to the court room.
