Jhené Aiko Talks Motherhood And Explains Why She Won't Be Collaborating With Sister Mila J Anytime Soon [WATCH]

Jhené Aiko recently stopped by Power 106 to promote her debut album Souled Out, which dropped today.

During her chat with Angie Martinez, Aiko dished about an array of things including motherhood, Sade comparisons and why she won't be collaborating with her sister Mila J.

Read highlights, per Rap-Up, and watch the interview in its entirety below.

Jhené Aiko on her album: "I would say it's mellow, nice message, just real chill, ride off into the sunset type of music."

On her decision for minimal features: "The EP had a lot of features and I just want it to be my album, so people could really see what I do."

On being compared to Sade: "When people make those comparisons to Sade, I see that. I would never say it myself because people try to kill me if I compare myself to anyone that is that great."

On her sister Mila J: "We don't work together. It's weird, but it's not. I feel like the style of music that I'm doing, where I wanna go, maybe doesn't meet up with the style that she's doing or where she is now."

On rumors she dated Drake and Childish Gambino: "I'm a young lady so if I work with you, that means we went out or whatever or that we love each other? I'm friends with both of them."
