Morgan Wallen might be busy with his career as a musician as he had just wrapped up his tour this year and is set to continue in a few months, but he will always make time for his son.

According to Taste of Country, the country musician welcomed his baby named Indie in 2020. He and his ex-partner, Katie Smith, are no longer romantically involved with one another but they share custody of their little bundle of joy.

The singer recently spoke in an interview with Billboard where he revealed that before he became a dad, he was very focused on his goal in the music industry as he wanted to be successful in his career.

However, when his son arrived, everything changed in his life.

The country crooner explained that when he had his son, it gave him something to focus on not only about himself because before, he had to be "super selfish."

"I had to mostly focus on myself or [my career] wouldn't work," he says. But now, "it's nice to really think about someone other than yourself and about what you're passing down," he said.

He added that Indie is his favorite thing about life.

One of his closest friends and collaborators, Hardy, previously shared an encounter between the singer and his son when they were working on a track.

At the time, his son Indie was already asleep and Wallen was looking for an outlet where he could plug in a baby monitor.

Hardy was surprised because he didn't think he would see it in the singer back when he was younger.

Morgan Wallen's Career Has Gotten Bigger

Later on, he explained that his career took off massively and "everything has gotten so, so huge."

One of the things that changed in his life is he doesn't go to the grocery store anymore and whenever he had to visit the doctor, he had to go through the back door because a lot of people recognize him almost anywhere.

"I still try to hold on to as much [normalcy] as possible. I like driving, so I try to drive as much as I can by myself," he added.
