Doja Cat 'So Scared' of Spiders Despite Tattoo, Album Cover: 'Those Aren't Animals!'

Does Doja Cat have arachnophobia, a fear of spiders?

During the "Paint the Town Red" singer's appearance on the "Close Friends Only" podcast by Instagram, she revealed that she does not even like bugs in general.

"F**k bugs. Those aren't animals to me, though. Those are creatures from f**king space," Doja Cat told Ice Spice.

While they were on the topic of bugs, the "Barbie World" rapper revealed that she is scared of spiders, a sentiment Doja Cat echoed.

"I don't like spiders. I have them all over my body. They're part of my entire..." She said before trailing off.

Doja Cat has been linked to spiders after she included one on the cover of her newly released album, "Scarlet," and she also had an image of a spider tattooed on her skin.

Ice Spice joked that by doing so, Doja Cat might be "attracting" some spiders.

"I know. I feel like I am, but it's like conquering fear," the "Say So" singer simply replied.

Doja Cat has linked her name to the image of spiders since she revealed the cover of her album several months ago.

"The art I chose for my album is beautiful and I like it a lot. The two spiders signify conquering your fear," she reflected on it. "None of my album covers had meaning until this album. You not accepting me was a fear I used to have. I don't care anymore about satisfying you."

The statement came after several comments criticizing the initial cover of the album, which featured a single pink spider.

"You don't have to be reactive to what random people say online because it's just one opinion of some random person online you do not know," Doja Cat added.

However, not only did Doja Cat rake in several criticisms about her initial album cover but it also happened to be nearly identical to an artwork used as an album cover by the German metalcore band Chaver.

According to reports, Doja Cat did not say much about the covers being so similar, she simply uploaded a new cover of the album.

The new "Scarlet" album cover features two spiders seemingly kissing; their bodies are made of pearls.
