A Taylor Swift song has reportedly the potential to save a life.

The Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter's song "You're Losing Me (From the Vault)" has been identified by the American Heart Association as an appropriate rhythm to use when performing CPR.

Taylor released her new song last month, and with a heart-stirring rhythm of 103 beats per minute - said to be the perfect tempo for initiating chest compressions - it includes the line "I can't find a pulse, my heart won't start anymore."

The AHA advocated for using songs with a steady beat to save lives, according to The Sun.

They suggested that when presented with an emergency, call an ambulance and push hard and fast in time with the song's rhythm. Their statement read: "The lyrics might be heartbreaking, but the beat could be heart-saving."

Regarding CPR, it is recommended to perform compressions between 100 and 120 beats per minute. Music can aid this, and the Bee Gees' hit song Stayin' Alive has long been a popular choice.

Janet Bray emphasized the importance of CPR education for people of all ages. She noted, "CPR can significantly impact public health, and we need to spread awareness about this life-saving skill.

'You're Losing Me' - Who Is It About?

Speculation has arisen among Swifties that producer Jack Antonoff may have divulged the news of Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn's split.

The pop star is now seemingly involved with NFL player Travis Kelce, but people are looking to her past relationship in light of "You're Losing Me" being available for streaming.

To show her gratitude to fans who launched her to the top of Spotify's Global Top Artist in 2023, Taylor Swift made "You're Losing Me" widely available.

The song had previously been released exclusively on CD and was sold at MetLife Stadium during her three-show residency in May.

The song "You're Losing Me," off Taylor's tenth studio album "Midnights," encapsulates the struggles of dealing with a failing relationship and asks whether it can be salvaged.

Last week saw the long-awaited release of the Taylor Swift's song, co-written with her long-time collaborator Jack Antonoff and celebrated by him in an Instagram story that has since been taken down.

The surprise launch of "You're Losing Me" only two months after raised speculation that Alwyn was its source of inspiration. Yet, Jack Antonoff's disclosure suggests the timeline is off or another person might have been the muse for the song.
