In a suggestive video posted on Instagram on Tuesday, Britney Spears modeled underwear while wearing a helmet and gloves.
The 42-year-old pop sensation showed off her toned figure in a black pant set and a red and white bra with lace detailing. The Toxic hitmaker, whose father Jamie was seen in public for the first time since losing his leg earlier in the day, accessorized the look with a wide-brimmed black hat, black elbow-length gloves, and clunky black heels.
The actress filmed herself in a mirror, her bed visible behind her, striking a series of seductive postures. The video was shot against the background of her song "Coupure Électrique."
"After putting on the gloves and hat, I instantly became a character!" Perhaps Sandra Cummings?," she captioned the photo.
It seemed as though she was making a reference to the "The Sandra Cummings Story," a 1963 Wagon Train episode. In the episode, Rhonda Fleming's character Sandra, a former spy, breaks free from a Confederate jail and joins a musical group as the lead singer.
At one point, Britney caressed her body with her gloved hand and giggled, sticking out her tongue. Jamie Spears, her 71-year-old estranged father, was seen for the first time today after having his leg amputated due to a nasty infection. Jamie was wheeled to his car and positioned himself close to the Spears family's Kentwood, Louisiana, home, only fitting his left leg into the passenger seat.
The encounter coincided with reports that Britney will 'never' make amends to Jamie, despite his failing health and amputation of his leg, because she will never forgive the guy for 'hurting her' in ways that are 'not possible.'
After posting several old pictures of herself with her boys Sean and Jayden on Instagram, including one with her estranged father who oversaw her 13-year conservatorship until it ended in November 2021, the singer seemed to be hinting at a potential reunion. However, a person close to Spears has dispelled any rumors that she is trying to mend their broken relationship and has stated she would continue to fight her father in court.
After everything that has been said and done between them, a reconciliation doesn't appear likely very soon because one of the parties isn't feeling well at the moment.
She also attacked her "awful" father for sending her to a treatment facility in 2014 where she was surrounded by "crack and heroin addicts" in her just-published memoir.
In another section, Britney claimed her family had once started treating her like she was "beholden to him," likening Jamie to a cult leader.
Before the book was published on October 24, the singer of "Oops!.. I Did It Again" would vent her frustrations on the internet.
