Kelly Clarkson has received much love and success with her hit talk show "The Kelly Clarkson Show" in the past couple of years; she is once again the recipient of two Daytime Emmy Awards.
"I am so proud of my whole team for our wins tonight!! Thank you to all of the people that started this show with us and to all of those who joined us this season!" The singer slash talk show host wrote in an Instagram post.
"Thank you to all of the guests and fans that take time out of their lives and schedules to come hang with us! We are beyond blessed, and grateful, and so thankful for our new family and friends at 30 Rock who have been so supportive of our new home."
The win comes several months after a group of disgruntled staff members came forward with toxic workplace claims.
'The Kelly Clarkson Show's First Controversy'
According to a Rolling Stone report, there were 10 employees-both current and former--that came forward with the allegations, but they made sure to note that the "Since U Been Gone" singer had nothing to do with it.
"I would be shocked if she knew," a former employee said. "I'd be floored if she knew the staff wasn't getting paid for two weeks of Christmas hiatus. The Kelly that I interacted with and that everyone knows would probably be pretty aghast to learn that."
"I remember going up on the roof of the stage to cry, being like, 'Oh, my gosh, what am I doing? Why am I putting myself through this?'" another added.
The employees pointed the finger at the executive producer of "The Kelly Clarkson Show": "I think [executive producer] Alex Duda's a monster. I have a friend who's an executive producer who warned me about taking this job, because apparently she has done this on every show she's worked on."
Kelly Clarkson Vows to Make a Change
According to reports, when Clarkson heard about the toxic workplace claims, she was astounded and aghast, just as the former employee predicted.
"To find out that anyone is feeling unheard and or disrespected on this show is unacceptable," the "My Life Would Suck Without You" singer wrote in her statement.
"As we prepare for a move to the East Coast, I am more committed than ever to ensuring that not only our team is moving, but also our new team in NY is comprised of the best and kindest in the business.
"Part of that build will include leadership training for all of the senior staff, including myself."
"Especially when it comes to leadership, to ensure that any notion of toxicity is eradicated," she added.
