Kanye West has been compared with former president Donald Trump for his controlling behavior.
West and his wife, Bianca Censori, have appeared in headlines left and right as revelations about their marriage surfaced. Previous reports said the rapper has been controlling the way she dresses, eats and acts, and it has become too much that she gave him an ultimatum recently.
Kanye West Picked Bianca Censori As His Wife for a Reason?
Celebrity PR agency Jane Owen PR owner, Jane Owen, said West picked and married Censori because he likes to be in control. It resonated with previous reports about the "Jesus Is King" rapper wanting his new wife to become a radicalized and more obedient version of Kim Kardashian.
Because of his behavior, the expert compared him to Trump, who reportedly "demands people agree with his opinion if they are in his inner circle."
"It's my opinion he chose to marry someone who already works for him so that he could have a wife with no problem doing and wearing whatever he wants them to," Owen said. "It's therefore not surprising she's [seemingly] wearing what he tells her too. I don't know if she too believes the nonsense he spews, but I doubt she could contradict him even if she wanted to. Time will tell."
Censori reportedly went back to her old self during her solo trip to Melbourne. However, it caused a massive fight between the married couple as West thought he was no longer in control of his wife.
But during their reunions, the designer started wearing her usual eye-popping getups whenever she is with her husband.
Kanye West Slammed for Overpriced Products
Owen's comment came after West released a "shoe sock" that is worth $200, describing it as an item that "debuts the foldable future of footwear."
Internet users slammed the move, criticizing West and his product on X.
One said, "200$ socks ? i better be able to levitate in these."
"Hello kanye. I'm chinese international student. How you sell sock for $200? My cousin have factory in China. Make sock for $0.35. Please teach me business. I learn make money like you so save money for my rocket ship. You can be first class on rocket to moon vacation," another hilariously wrote.
According to Owen, West's move was "too much."
"I think that selling 'socks pretending to be shoes' is an example of the systemic problem with the fashion industry making incredible sums of money based on their ability to markup pricing by huge amounts, and make insanely large profits by taking advantage of people's gullibility, addiction to brand and their susceptibility to marketing over substance," she explained, noting it is not a "new phenomenon."
