Kendrick Lamar is still a fan of the people. The rapper decdied to support the community that raised him by attending a toy giveaway event in Compton.
Over the weekend, The Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper appeared in Compton on Saturday (Dec. 16) to support the annual Christmas In Compton Toy Giveaway at Enterprise Park.
The former TDE artist posed for photos with the residents of Compton. In images posted on social media, Compton-raised fans could be seen in pictures with the DAMN rapper.
Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Lovine and fellow-California rapper Jay Worthy were also in attendance.
"WHO ELSE HOOD YOU KNOW GOT JIMMY IOVINE PULLING UP TO THEY PARK WESTSIDE THE MOST INFLUENTIAL HOOD IN AMERICA THATS WHO," Worthy wrote.
