In-person concerts are no doubt expensive especially if you wish to see your favorite artist from the first few rows of the concert venue. Thanks to the power of technology, performances from musicians are now accessible with the use of VR.

According to Uproxx, the singer performed at his "No Place Like Home Tour" in his home state of Kentucky as he wanted to give back to his community.

His final show at the Rupp Arena in Lexington was filmed and the footage from the music event is set to appear in a concert film and documentary.

In addition, the rapper will also perform at a VR concert through the platform Metaverse. For those who are interested in participating, the show will begin on January 4, 2024, at 5 p.m. PT via Meta Quest VR headset.

Fans who will attend the online concert will get almost the same experience of watching Jack Harlow live because of the highly-advanced gadget.

In a statement, the musician revealed that last year, he realized how much of Kentucky he has never seen despite it being his homestate.

This led him to take a tour bus across the state along with all of his childhood friends.

"Six shows in different towns across the state, with the final stop being in Lexington. We decided my first show at the historic Rupp Arena was the perfect moment to capture in VR. Enjoy," he added. (via Variety)

The President of Unscripted Television at Range Media Productions Mark Herwick added that the VR concert is "truly incredible" and they are excited for the public to watch it.

In addition, they also look forward to giving an "intimate perspective into the importance" behind the tour.
